I remember a criticism of RE5 was that it was more of an action game than a survival horror but I would honestly say that is also true of RE4. What I will say is when playing it for the first time, I was surprised by how actiony RE4 was. I know it kind of spawned the genre of modern third person shooters so I'm unsure as whether this remake can do for RE4 what the remakes of 2 and 3 did for their respective titles.

I've been playing through all the Resident Evil games for the first time this year, when I got to RE4 I was surprised by how it didn't really feel particularly dated. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
